Brooklyn Bike Jumble
Brooklyn Bike Jumble; New York's first and only bicycle flea market!
The Jumble’s aim is to connect local vendors and artisanal producers of handmade bikes, designers, clothing and accessories with the community. This year's attendees include bike vendors Coast, 718 Cyclery and Recycle-a-Bicycle, the urban cyclewear company Outlier and Taliah Lempert, who will be showcasing her bicycle paintings.

Josh Hadar
'This is the story you have not heard and the place you have not seen. In a sign-less, nondescript, windowless 1-story garage workspace in SOHO, bicycles are being made.'
'These creations are the work of Josh Hadar; The bikes are hybrids - they can either be peddled or run on a small gas or electric motor. They are all handmade - a lot of cutting, tube bending, grinding and welding goes into these graceful, chopperlike vehicles - about 4 to 5 weeks time goes into each one.'

ECMC Berlin
'In 1993 the first-ever Cycle Messenger World Championships were held in Berlin, Germany, and with it an international community and new sport emerged.
The Berlin Bike Messenger Association (BBM e.V.) is proud to continue the tradition by hosting the 14th-annual European Cycle Messenger Championships over Pentecost weekend here in Berlin.
The ECMC 2009 will bring hundreds of professional bike messengers from Europe and beyond together for three days of races and social activities celebrating their unique profession and attendant lifestyles.
Non-messengers are as always tolerated at this event, although leave the excessive posing to the professionals, thanks.'
